How much coverage do you need?
All of their chevron kits are available in full, three-quarter, and half sizes, to cover the rear of your vehicle. If you are working on a road over 40mph it highly recommended to have a full kit, and less than 40mph, the other kits will perform fine. Typically, their half kits are utilised on cars and some vans. What materials should you select?
When selecting your chevron kit, three main materials are available: prismatic type (Class RA2) and glass bead type (Class RA1) and R3B. Each one has a different standard of reflectivity, making them acceptable for various highway speeds. R3B has the highest degree of visibility and RA1 has the lowest.
It is recommended to use R3B or RA2 markings on vehicles that work on roads more than 40mph, commonly motorways and dual carriageways. For roadways below 40mph, RA1 is appropriate.
